An enterprise-grade multi-currency payment processing engine and real-time merchant analytics portal.
Problem Statement
SwiftPay required a transaction processing platform capable of orchestrating payment authorizations across three distinct payment gateways while maintaining strict sub-200ms API response times. Legacy systems suffered from race conditions during webhooks and inconsistent reconciliation reports.
Architectural Strategy
We architected a clean, decoupled PHP backend featuring an idempotent transaction queue, database row-level locking for account balances, and an asynchronous notification handler. On the frontend, we built an intuitive, high-density merchant dashboard using standard web components for zero framework bloat.
Execution & Results
The resulting payment platform processed over $12M in test and initial production volume without single-item data drift. Merchant setup time dropped from 48 hours to under 15 minutes, with audit logging attached to every transaction event.
